This is a recipe for good health as well as good skin. Your skin is the biggest organ of your body and reflects the way you treat your body. If you eat meals with too much salt in them your body can collect water and cause you to have puffy eyes. If you eat too much sugar you could cause an acne breakout on your face, as the sugar can encourage bacterial growth in your pores. Smoking will cause crow's feet and other wrinkles.
And need I mention that tanning is actually skin damage, folks, with long-term health repercussions?
Now, I'm not a Puritan and want you to enjoy yourself occasionally. But here in the U.S.A. we eat lots of bad food and we do it constantly. I often watch what the person in front of me in the grocery store check-out line is buying. The processed, sugary and fatty items often outnumber the wholesome foods being purchased. I am similarly appalled when I see male construction workers on the job in the blazing sun without shirts and probably without sunscreen on. And nobody wearing hats with big brims when they are exposed to the sun for hours.
Well, I'm done and am about to get off my soapbox. I, as your esthetician, will do my part to make you look better. If you follow the guidelines I have listed in the first paragraph you will make my job easier. Appreciate it!
